In short
How to play Crazy Time comes down to one choice before each spin: you stake on the number 1, 2, 5 or 10, or on one of four bonus rounds, and a host then spins a wheel of 54 segments. Chance alone decides where it stops, and every spin carries a built-in house edge.
- One wheel. Eight bet spots, 54 segments.
- Pure chance. Past spins do not steer the next one.
- A built-in cost. Evolution’s own figures leave the house a share of every stake.

How to play Crazy Time: one round from bet to payout
Crazy Time is a live game show made by Evolution and launched in July 2020. A presenter runs a large money wheel in a studio, and the video is streamed to players. Evolution describes a round in these stages (Evolution, checked 5 October 2026).
- Betting opens. Evolution says the window lasts 15 seconds.
- You place chips on one or more bet spots: the numbers 1, 2, 5 and 10, or the bonus rounds Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko and Crazy Time.
- The Top Slot, a slot-style feature, spins alongside the main wheel and can give a multiplier to a number or a bonus round (Evolution’s wording). The presenter spins the main wheel.
- If it stops on a number, bets on that number are settled, with any multiplier applied. If it stops on a bonus segment, only players with a bet on that bonus take part.
An illustration, not a real record. Imagine NPR 100 on the number 2 and NPR 100 on the Crazy Time bonus. The wheel stops on a Coin Flip segment. Both bets are lost, because neither matches. The Coin Flip round is played by others, and you can only watch. Had it stopped on the 2, the listed 2:1 payout would mean NPR 200 on that NPR 100, before any Top Slot multiplier.
What is on the wheel?
Before you can follow how to play Crazy Time, you need the layout of the wheel. Evolution says it has 54 segments. Evolution’s page does not print the split in text, so the counts below come from an independent review site, and they add up to 54. Source: LiveCasinoComparer, checked 5 October 2026.
| Bet spot | Segments | Share of the wheel | Listed payout |
|---|---|---|---|
| Number 1 | 21 | 38.89% | 1:1 |
| Number 2 | 13 | 24.07% | 2:1 |
| Number 5 | 7 | 12.96% | 5:1 |
| Number 10 | 4 | 7.41% | 10:1 |
| Coin Flip | 4 | 7.41% | Bonus round |
| Cash Hunt | 2 | 3.70% | Bonus round |
| Pachinko | 2 | 3.70% | Bonus round |
| Crazy Time | 1 | 1.85% | Bonus round |
The four bonus spots total 9 of 54 segments, which is one in six. That matches Evolution’s statement that a bonus round arrives about every sixth spin on average. The same page adds that this “may vary” because of randomness (Evolution, checked 5 October 2026). Notice that the number 1 fills almost four segments in ten, and the 10 only about one in fourteen.

What are the four Crazy Time bonus rounds?
Knowing how to play Crazy Time includes knowing what each bonus round is. Only players holding a bet on that bonus can take part, and everyone else watches.
The table below sums up Evolution’s own descriptions of the Crazy Time bonus rounds, in our words. Source: Evolution, checked 5 October 2026.
| Round | What happens | Highest multiplier Evolution lists |
|---|---|---|
| Coin Flip | The coin is blue on one face and red on the other. Each colour is given a random multiplier, the coin is flipped, and the colour left facing up sets the prize. A “Rescue Flip” can add another flip when the multipliers are low. | 5,000x |
| Cash Hunt | A shooting-gallery screen hides 108 random multipliers behind symbols. Each player aims at one symbol, so each result is personal. | Not given for this round on the pages read |
| Pachinko | A puck drops down a wall of pegs into prize zones. A zone marked “Double” doubles the others and the puck is dropped again. | 10,000x |
| Crazy Time | Behind a red door sits a second, larger wheel. Players pick a blue, green or yellow flapper, and the prize is where that flapper points when the wheel stops. Doubles and triples can lift the multipliers. | 20,000x |
Those figures are ceilings, not typical results. Evolution says the Coin Flip ceiling needs a 50x Top Slot multiplier to carry into the round. It also describes the Top Slot’s own maximum as 50x. A ceiling tells you how large a rare outcome can be and nothing about how often it happens.
What does “live” mean in a live game show?
Another part of the picture is the word “live”. Evolution says the show is hosted by live presenters and streamed in real time, and that the stream runs around the clock (Evolution, checked 5 October 2026). A real wheel, a real studio and a real person are on screen. Your device only displays the video and takes your bets.
Live does not mean fair to you in any special sense, and it does not mean more predictable. Evolution’s own page says each spin is independent of the previous ones, so earlier results cannot predict later ones. It describes the game as solely based on random outcomes.

What does each spin cost on average?
How to play Crazy Time also means understanding what each spin costs. Return to player, or RTP, is the share of all stakes a game pays back on average over a very large number of bets. The house edge is what is left.
Evolution states a theoretical RTP range of 94.41% to 96.08% on its how-to-play page. Its main game page gives 96.08% alone. The subtraction below is ours.
| Evolution states | House edge (100% minus RTP) | Average cost per NPR 1,000 staked |
|---|---|---|
| RTP 94.41% | 5.59% | About NPR 56 |
| RTP 96.08% | 3.92% | About NPR 39 |

They are not a forecast for one evening, which can end far above or far below them. Evolution refers to the game’s volatility, meaning small and large results can both occur, with no pattern you can count on.
How to play Crazy Time: what the rules cannot change
Crazy Time rules let you follow the screen, but they do not change the odds. Crazy Time is a game of chance with a built-in house edge.
No routine, record of past spins or lucky number alters that. Evolution says the outcome cannot be predicted.
Local law matters too. Rising Nepal reported on 31 March 2026 that officials state betting is illegal in Nepal under the Criminal Code 2017 and the Advertisement Regulation Act (checked 5 October 2026). This is general information, not legal advice. A qualified Nepali lawyer can answer questions about your own position.
Why do fast live games need extra care?
A betting window of 15 seconds means the next round arrives almost as soon as the last one is settled. That is our reading of Evolution’s figure, not a claim from the page. It is easy to place several bets in a row without stopping to count what has gone. The bonus rounds add extra screens and big multipliers on display, and every one of them is still decided by chance.
- Money is spent in small steps. Many small stakes add up to a large total.
- Near misses are common. A wheel that stops beside a bonus segment has not “almost” paid you.
- Losses are not owed back. A run of lost spins does not make a later result more likely.

Frequently asked questions
What is the simplest way to understand how to play Crazy Time?
Think of it as a single bet on a wheel. You choose a number or a bonus spot, the presenter spins, and the bet is settled when the wheel stops. Everything else, the Top Slot and the bonus rounds, only changes the size of a result, not the fact that chance picks it.
Does knowing how to play Crazy Time improve your chances?
No. Knowing the Crazy Time rules helps you understand what you see. Evolution says each spin is independent and the outcome cannot be predicted. The house edge stays in place whichever bet spot you choose.
What are the bonus rounds in Crazy Time?
There are four Crazy Time bonus rounds: Coin Flip, Cash Hunt, Pachinko and Crazy Time. Each starts only when the wheel stops on its own segment. Only players holding a bet on that bonus take part.
How often does a bonus round come up?
Evolution says about every sixth spin on average, and that this varies. Our count of 9 bonus segments out of 54 gives the same one in six. Averages say little about any short run of spins.
Is Crazy Time legal in Nepal?
Officials quoted by Rising Nepal on 31 March 2026 say betting is illegal in Nepal. This is general information, not legal advice. Our responsible gambling page lists ways to get support.
That is how to play Crazy Time in outline: a bet spot, a wheel of chance, four bonus rounds and a cost built into every spin. Treat it as knowledge of a game, not as a way to beat it.
