How Ice Fishing works: one round from bet to payout
Ice Fishing is a live game show made by Evolution. Its page lists a game host and describes a “virtual” money wheel with 53 segments. In our reading, that means the host is live while the wheel itself is drawn on screen. A round runs in four stages (Evolution, checked 6 October 2026).
- Betting. You put chips on one or more bet spots: Leaf 1, Leaf 2, Lil’ Blues, Big Oranges, Huge Reds, or All Bonuses, which covers every bonus segment at once.
- Multipliers. When betting closes, random multipliers of up to 10x may be placed on some wheel segments.
- The spin. The wheel turns, and a flapper points to the segment that has won.
- Settlement. A Leaf result settles Leaf bets straight away. A bonus result opens the matching fishing round.
An illustration, not a real record. Imagine a player stakes NPR 100 on Leaf 1 and NPR 50 on Lil’ Blues in one round, so NPR 150 is at risk. This time the flapper lands on a Huge Reds segment. Neither bet matches, so both are lost, and the player can only watch the Huge Reds fishing round. The sum is ours: NPR 100 plus NPR 50 is NPR 150.

“Huge Reds” is the game’s own name for a bet spot, not our description of it. Evolution adds that the segments linked to one bonus type may carry a wheel multiplier of 2x to 10x. It also advertises rewards of up to 5000x, a ceiling and not a typical result.
What is the Ice Fishing bonus round?
The Ice Fishing bonus round is a short scene in an Arctic setting, filled with fish that each carry a multiplier. Evolution says all players can watch, but only players with a bet on that bonus spot can take part and be paid.
Evolution describes the sequence in this order. First, if the bonus segment received a multiplier on the wheel, the fish multipliers in the scene rise to match, before any fishing begins. Then the host reels the catch in slowly, a little at a time. The final multiplier is shown only once the fish is out of the water, and the payout is worked out from it.
Notice what this means for the viewer. A slow reveal makes the moment feel earned, but the number was set by chance before the host started pulling.
How the Ice Fishing live game differs from Crazy Time
The Ice Fishing live game and another live game show explained on this site share one idea: a wheel decides, and bonus rounds follow. Ice Fishing calls itself a “speed game show” and has three bonus spots, where the other has four. Each has its own bet spots and its own published figures, so one guide cannot be applied to the other.
What does Evolution not publish?
An honest account of how Ice Fishing works must admit what is missing. Many pages about this game print exact segment counts and return figures, but Evolution’s page, as we read it on 6 October 2026, does not. The independent review pages we read also disagree with each other on those counts, so we print none of them.

How Ice Fishing works: what the rules cannot change
The Ice Fishing rules explain what you see on screen. They do not change the odds, and they offer no pattern to read.
The wheel does not remember. A long run of Leaf results does not make a fishing round more likely, and a long wait is not a debt the game owes you. Multipliers appear at random after betting closes, so they cannot be planned around.
Local law matters too. Rising Nepal reported on 31 March 2026 that officials state betting is illegal in Nepal under the Criminal Code 2017 and the Advertisement Regulation Act (checked 6 October 2026). Why do fast live games need extra care?
Knowing how Ice Fishing works includes knowing how fast it moves, since Evolution calls it a speed game show. When rounds come quickly, it is easy to place bet after bet without adding up what has gone. Here is a second illustration, again not a real record: NPR 100 staked in each of 12 rounds means NPR 1,200 has passed through the game, whatever the results were.
- Small stakes add up. Many modest bets make a large total.
- A slow reveal is still chance. The suspense of the bonus scene does not change the outcome.
- Losses are not owed back. Chasing them is how small sessions grow.
